The town of Antequera is known as the Basket Capital of the Philippines. Every 17th of March the town will celebrate the "Basket Festival " .

As part of the celebration every barangay will exhibit what's best in their place. They will display the plants , smallest to biggest fruits and some other wierd things that you cant imagine exists.
And they will gather all their products in what they call "kubo " . And that kubo will showcase the artistic side of the antequeranon. !
And the best kubo will win a particular price. They also have the street dancing ang Fiestival Queen contest . (The photo below is Ms. Crisyl Marie (Red))
