We have a huge ant Hill infront of my son's bedroom window that we want gone so basically what It is composed of dirt, tiny rocks, sand, clay, and various types of decomposed organic material.
Ant hills are a result of the queen and worker ants trying to establish a safe home for the entire colony.We have already treated it once and the ants have started to rebuild the hill for their coloney.
We took two of these pots full of boiling water and poured it onto the nest as we read about online when we did research for the first removal of the hill to be level with the grass surface.
we still see some ants scurrying to the eggs .So we dug those out and were hopeful that this will stop the ants from building a hill here in the future .
