ENNEAD: INPU

in anubis •  2 years ago  (edited)

The way I see it, Ausar is god of the order, life, and the dead, being first dead, biblical Abel and archetype of the brain in the here and now, who got killed by his brother Sutekh, god of Chaos, deserts, and royalty, biblical Cain and archetype of the mind in the past and the future, whose two sons; Inpu, the black jackal or wolf as god of death, represents past memories and completion, and Wepwawet the white jackal or wolf as god of war, represents future expectations and planning, with Auset, consort of Ausar, as goddess of birth time, while Nebt-Het, consort of Sutekh, as goddess of death time.
