About APEPDS Ration Cards and its Types:
The full form of AP EPDS is Andhra Pradesh Electronic Public Distribution System ration Cards. The AP Government has introduced new ways to access these ration cards from the official website of the Civil Supplies.
There are basically two types of Ration Cards available on the basis of the income status. The first one is the Pink Ration Card, which is given to that category whose income status is above Rs 11,000/-. Whereas, the White rations Cards are given to that category whose income status is below Rs 11,000/-.
Ration Card Status in AP
After you are done with the application form submission for a new ration card, it is easy to track down the status of the application. Visit the MeeSeva Portal of the Andhra Pradesh Government and navigate to “Know Your Status of your Application” section. Enter the transaction or the Reference Number and in Nano-seconds you can get to know the status of your application form.
Follow the following steps to check the status of Andhra Pradesh Electronic Public Distribution System:
- Open the link http://epdsap.ap.gov.in/printRCards
- Now select the district in Andhra Pradesh, where you want to check the status of the Ration Card.
- Enter the Ration Card number that you have received after the submission of the Application Form.
- After clicking on the submit option the status of the Ration card will be displayed giving the detailed information.
Alternate Method:
You can also check the Status of the Ration Card by visiting the official website of Civil Supplies. Following are the steps to follow for checking the status. - Visit the official website of AP EPDS: http://epdsap.ap.gov.in
- Now after scrolling down, you will find four options available- Print Ration Card, Search Ration Card, Transaction History, and Application Search.
- Then click on the “Print Ration Card” which is mainly based on the Old RCNO or the application number.
- Now you will get the Print Ration Card Number. Now you can enter the name of any family member of the concerned family and then click on “Submit”.
- After the submission of the form, a unique number is displayed. Select the number and paste it in the “Click here to search your Application Number” and submit.
- Finally, you will get all the details regarding the AP EPDS Card.
