Indian Apollo fish fry (Recipe)
This is a very popular dish among the people of Hyderabad,India
Apollo Fish is very popular in the hotels and bars there. The main reason for its special taste is that the thornless pieces of large fish are dipped in spiced flour and fried in a spicy and sour sauce.
This is my own sneeze recipe.
Let's see how this amazing Apollo fish fry is placed.
.1. Fine-grained fish - 250 gm - Made into medium pieces without thorns.
.2. For frying fish pieces, you need:
a) Chili powder 1tsp, turmeric powder - a pinch, ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp, salt
b) Eggs - 1 no. , Maida 1 tbsp, cornflour - 1 tbsp
.3. To add fried fish pieces:
Ginger Garlic 1 tsp finely chopped, green chillies 2–3 chopped, curry leaves, coriander powder 1 tsp, chilli paste 1 tbsp, ground black pepper - 2 tsp, soy sauce 1 tsp, yogurt - 3–4 tbsp, coriander leaves
.4. Lemon juice - 1 tbsp, oil
Method of cooking:--
- Put the fish pieces in a bowl and fold the ingredients given in ( Above No: 2a )into it.
II. After 5-10 minutes, add the ingredients mentioned in (Above 2b) and mix well.
III. Fry these peeled fish pieces in oil and set aside.
IV. Heat oil in a pan and fry the ingredients mentioned in 3 - First add ginger, garlic, chopped green chillies and curry leaves and when it is cooked, add coriander powder, chilli paste etc. When it looks like it is simmering, add the roasted fish pieces and slowly lift the pan and toss the pan gently to catch the sauce on the fish pieces.
V. When the fish is all done, drain the lemon juice and remove from the oven.
Serve hot with salad or sauce
