Paul, the apostle: The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy

The early church after the arrival of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:1-4) under the leadership of the apostle Peter was taking its first steps and Christianity with the missionary journeys of the apostle Paul began to spread in the pagan world. The first Christians were of Jewish origin and for many circumcision and the law of Moses were necessary to reach salvation; not everyone agreed with that, especially the Greek-speaking Christians, and this brought about the first Jerusalem council.
The letter to the Galatians tells us about Paul's efforts to transmit the true gospel, the Kingdom of God according to Paul, did not depend on the Law of Moses but on faith in our Lord manifested in works of piety and mercy (compassion, kindness).
For Paul, those who continued to practice the law of Moses, were still under the slavery of sin, and had not received the true gospel: "As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God's curse!" Galatians 1:9.
For this reason, in the letter to the Galatians, the apostle of the gentiles confirmed his authority by explaining that his teachings came from divine inspiration:
"I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ" Galatians 1:11.
And that God despite his previous life called him by grace to meet Jesus, Paul had received a heavenly vision and with it his conversion to the faith.
Although many Christians who had heard of him said: "The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy" Galatians 1:23.
Paul with his doctrine of justification by faith laid the foundations of Christianity: "We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ" Galatians 2:15-16.
Paul was an example of life for all christians.
