How to Power-UP and Power-Down on APPICS

Have you ever wonder that we can power up and power down on appics? Though We are not able to do this transactions inside the appics app(yet) but we can manipulate the apx token we have on steem-engine. I made this short tutorial to help those newguys who recently join the platform. if you already done this on steem-engine you can skip this one.

How to buy STEEM Token

Start the process from buying steem token. You can buy steem in so many ways but I preferred blocktrades it's quick and easy. to buy go to your wallet then click the "BUY STEEM OR STEEM POWER"

When you already have Steem Login to your steem-engine.com account using your private posting key/WIF and Tap the DEPOSIT button
Choose which token you would like to DEPOSIT. choose STEEM then TAP "GET DEPOSIT INFO"

Your current STEEM Balance will reflect here, Enter the amount you would like to deposit( there is 1% fee on both Deposit and Withdrawals) Hit "Deposit Steem" then wait for the token to be credited to your wallet (STEEMP).

Go back to your Wallet then Click "TOKENS" find the token name APPICS(APX) in the right side you will see 🔁 logo click it or click this link: https://steem-engine.com/?p=market&t=APX
Will be directed to apx market

You can now buy APX token at current value (instantly) or manipulate by lowering the price of the token and wait for your turn( it takes time) as the price is decided by the market.

Once your buy order is Filled go back to your WALLET then look for APX it's on top! At the right corner you can see the last 3 logo's

• 🔒 STAKE TOKENS: is the same as POWER UP this is the process of moving your tradeable token as power. Your upvote and ability to influence is stronger. the more apx power you have the higher the vote value you can give to the content contributor. There are more benefits of powering UP such as you can earn curation rewards, interest, you can help newcomers more efficiently and you can DELEGATE power to your desired account(anyone can delegate)

• 🔓 UNSTAKE TOKENS: or POWER DOWN! moving your STAKED POWER to tradeable Token

• ↔ DELEGATE TOKENS: we can delegate our STAKED TOKENS to anyone it means you are letting someone use your power to curate and vote. The account who receives the delegation cannot power-down the staked tokens as it for voting purposes only. Once you delegate you will temporarily lose that amount and voting power( that can cancel at any time) Only the staked token is able to delegate

STAKE YOUR APX TOKENS AS POWER!

We cannot do this on the appics app (yet) To Power UP click the🔒 logo then the STAKE TOKEN will pop up. Enter the desired amount of APX you want to power-up the hit "STAKE APX"

Open your appics app then go to your wallet, now you can see the amount of staked is added as your APPICS Power

If you want to power down just click the UNSTAKE TOKENS and Enter the desired amount. It takes 7days to fulfill the power-down and can be able to trade in the market
