A waste.

This little fellow knows it sucks. Look at its mouth.

I had from the same brand a stick and a spray.
Both did not help at all. A mosquito in need will bite (the females do), the need to survive is stronger as the smell we humans think they cannot stand. I can assure you they can.

As I put the stick down, within 10 minutes it attracted all mosquitoes in the house.
That makes one think. Shouldn't it do the opposite?

The spray with DEET I threw away last week.
It was not empty but there was no way to get the stuff out of it. I tried it for several days. Sometimes a part dripped out of it. It was clearly aggressive it "ate" parts of the can. So I will not buy this again.

I wonder if the mosquitoes are more aggressive this year.
If it comes to their amount there are way more and there are different species. I heard the black ones are more dangerous.
Before the black one was mentioned I never took notice of what a mosquito looked like.

In my entire life, I have seldom been bitten by one.
(It is an expression, mosquitoes don't bite.)
I assume my blood was not tasty enough? Perhaps because of all the meds and prednisone I took?
It is hard to believe old people smell and taste better as young ones or was that part of Dracula made up?

(If you have a pair of eyes around stick them onto .... and share your picture with @googlyeyes!)

oh yeah... that stuff never worked for me either... and I think the smell is more repelling to me than the mozzies... nasty bloodsuckers.

The only thing that really helps is this:

beesuit

but it gets sweaty in there!

The stuff made me cough and feel sick but they kept attacking me through my clothes. ☹

My problem (being Winter here) is not insects, but a stupid little mouse. It entered my room and I do not know where it hides. I bought a packet of poisoned pellets and put out 15. It ate them over 3 days. I placed another 14 and then another 15. I am down to 4 and I expect them to be eaten tonight.

I had not intended on spending money to provide the mouse with candy!

They like peanut butter too, a cat will help, one of the dogs catched a rat. They only kill it, its my job to get rid of it.

Mice can ruin a lot, had one once inside the house nesting, biting wires, pee everywhere. My car was broke after they nested in there (seats, wires) ☹

According to SciShow, some people are more attractive to mosquitoes than others, and there's not much to be done about it except to wear light-colored clothing, and don't drink alcohol:

That being said, as a kid I was always a mosquito magnet, and I certainly wasn't drinking any alcohol. LOL. I must just have a smell in my sweat that they like. Thankfully it's so dry where I live now, there are few mosquitoes.
PS - how do you have so many tags?

My eldest was a magnet too, actually she still is. As a baby bite next to bite and large. Once in Spain it was so extreme she was kept asleep for 2 days with antihistamine.

My son was attractive too, but I think the mosquitoes do no longer care.

As a kid we'd play outside until it was dark and then come in and watch Knight Rider or something on TV and count our mosquito bites. My neighbors would be like, "I have 4," and "I have 7," and I was, "I have 35." XD

So you won and you could keep playing with them to attract the mosquitoes? 😃

Nice, I couldn't help but notice you have an advertisement for appics.com on the bottom of your post. What's it like? Is the reward higher than on Steemit?

Thanks in advance.

Appics is a beta dapp and a way to post photos in a quiker way. You log in with your steem key. Rewards are the same.
You can ask to be a beta tester.
I like the app but with my slow connection its hard to post.

I edit the post with partiko so the text looks better.

I think other Appics users see those posts quicker and respond on it.
I watch photos via Appics and do so too.
