Apple has been unexpectedly vulnerable in recent weeks. The error occurred in FaceTime was noticed by users noting that the incoming calls were not answered, but the sound was crossed.
Grant Thompson, an American teenager, noticed this mistake on FaceTime's group calls while playing Fortnite. Hearing the voice of the user who did not answer the call, Thompson did not get any feedback from the fact that he quickly notified Apple of the situation. Apple had decided to resolve this issue by stopping the Group Facetime feature.
The 14-year-old teenager who has made such a huge security mistake will receive a prize in the scope of Apple's program Bug Bounty. This prize is expected to be 20 thousand dollars to 200 thousand dollars. It should be noted that the vulnerability in the Group FaceTime feature will be solved by the iOS 12.1.4 update.
