For now they are saying it's "suspended" at least. I personally don't believe that they will give up on this perfect way of a "legal" way of data collection (covered by the user agreement).
Every time the focus moves a little in the "breached privacy shaming game" they, just like other companies alike, make small moves to deflect incoming heat and pressure from press and social media to move right back to where they were when things cool off again a little. They don't even seem to bother to be more subtle about this. They suspend to flip back like a rubber band at an instant.
