To Whom It May Concern
In regards to case number 2270508
Evah Franklin vs Stephen Noon
I am asking the court to consider.
I (Evah Franklin) have thought about it and what Stephen Noon did to me and it is my belief it was deliberate. I will like to adjust my claim. Stephen exploited me for my money. Made me cleaned his house every week, after his filthy house was cleaned up, Stephen still refused to allow me a lock and key on the bedroom door I was paying him rent for. Stephen threatened me with weapons, whilst questioning me as to whether I called the residential tenancy board for him and then began accusing me of damaging his floors by cleaning it. Many times I had to flee in the middle of the night and drive around, I was afraid to stay there.
A called to the residential tenancy board revealed that Stephen was not the owner of the property and people had complained about him before. After speaking with Stephen ex, she revealed to me she has been terrified of Stephen for years.
As a result of the psychological trauma, emotional abuse and financial exploitation, I will like all of my funds returned,
$270 paid on July 19-July 31st 2021
$800 paid on July 31st for August 1st 2021
$800 paid on August 28th for September 1st
$500 paid on September 12th 2021

$260 to file a claim in smalls claim court
$26 To send letter by registered mail.
$169.00 for migraine prescription medication
$80 for doctor's visit to Kerrisdale Medical center.
$516 Petrol spent driving around in search of new accommodation.
$400 for the damage deposit I had to pay for my new place.
Terrorism, threats and lies...which cause me emotional distress and in turn I had to contact the suicide hotline and crisis centers $20,000.
Stephen Noon is a brazen racist and a liar. He abused me because I am black and he told me Hys Steakhouse will never hire me because it dark in there and they will not see me. This comments were among several of the racial slights he made towards me.
I work hard for my money at minimum wage, no one assists me or gives me any help. These events have cause me considerable distress and I received no assistance to deal with the trauma as a result of this. I was unable to sit my exams and had to leave uni again, so that I could work to keep a roof over my head.
Despite, interception from international bodies asking the government to offer me support and assistance, I continue to receive discrimination and threats of bodily harm.
Sincerely,
