10 من شهر محرم هو يوم عاشوراء هو يوم معلوم، مقدس معهود لدى جميع الطوائف والديانات.
تختلط فيه المشاعر والأهواء، فتجعل منه يوما
. فريدا متميزا بطقوسه وذكرياته وجاذبيته
فيه تاب الله على سيدنا آدم ،وأنقذ إبراهيم عليه السلام من النار،وموسى ومن معه من الغرق، وفيه تم اغراق فرعون ،وانقد يونس من بطن الحوت، ورد لسليمان ملكه، وفيه قتل أطهر الخلق في زمانه الحسين ومن معه من آل البيت الكرام،عليهم جميعا
. أفضل الصلاة وأزكى السلام
تتنوع فيه مظاهر الاحتفال بين المقبول والمردود،من مظاهر الفرح أو الحزن. توقد فيه النيران وتطلق المفرقعات، وتلطم الخدود،
يستحب فيه الصيام والمبادرة للطاعات،وصلة
. الرحم، والتوسعة على العيال
تقبل الله منا ومنكم الصيام وصالح الاعمال في هذا
