Facebook has partnered with the One Million Arab Programmer, an initiative that aims to teach one million Arab people how to plan to build stronger communities in the region.

"Facebook will collaborate with the initiative from the start to start using the skills gained in launching real projects, and we have held a number of meetings with officials and decision-makers," said Joel Kaplan, vice president of public policy for Facebook. .

"First of all, we have to find one million Arab programmers, so we will work on marketing, so we will use our experience in guiding students, and when some students move from programming to their own business, Access to resources provided by those accelerators ".

This partnership is a practical reflection of Facebook's decision to change its policies from just giving users the ability to share content to give them a platform to build their communities. Facebook has 170 million users from the Middle East entering the platform every day.

"There is no deadline for the program because the program is still in its early conceptual stages, and this partnership is one of the major partnerships we are announcing this year," Kaplan concluded.

Facebook joins other partners such as Karim, Odasity, Bayt.com, Hussain Sajwani and Dubai Future Foundation. All these partners aim to make the success of the initiative of one million Arab programmers offering online courses with the help of the Odasiti platform.

As you can see these partners are all companies and organizations with their weight and weight in the region and the world, and will certainly give their full support to the initiative, which will lead in turn to jumps in the quality of the initiative and the right way and return to the appropriate track after the negative views and reactions that accompanied the initiative with its inception. But every emerging project has to take some time to take shape, and this initiative remains one of the few bright spots that we must stick to and work to make it as successful as we can.
