Villa in Knokke realisation by our company

in architecture •  8 years ago  (edited)

Hi Steemians,

today i want to show you another project we did with our family company (glass -alluminium windows Reynaers).

The beautiful thing about this project is, that it is done in Het Zoute, Knokke, a flemish coastal village. All the houses there are built in the same typical style.

What's so special about this one is that the original style was maintained, but the windows make it contemporary modern.

This was designed by famous architect Hans Demyttenaere.

I will definitely be posting some more of our realisations soon. Often it takes a while before we can see our work in full beauty, because when we finish, the houses or project are often far from finished. It then also sometimes takes a year before the garden is fully grown-designed, and only then we can take these beautiful pictures.

Also a lot of the times we don't have permission of the owner to take pictures afterwards or use them publicly.

hope you have a nice day!

beautiful, modern and slick. what is the roof made of?

It's made of reed, it's a typical building style that you see all over the belgian coastal villages 😊

The best design I have seen 😎👍

I like the "paradox" of the classic exterior and the modern interior and windows.

Did you use anything special for the curtains in the big window? I'm asking because I'm looking for a solution for our windows (SAPA, not Reynaers though.)

i'll ask the project manager who did this project, because i don't know much about technicallities, i do marketing etc for our company 😄

My god that is very unique. I just started my own framing company and man does this look sharp. Keep up the good work i look forward to see more.

Thanks an whish you all the luck with your new company!!
