Hey folks,

Today Tasklist:

  • Show the folks on the net how to flash simplemining under linux

Ok lets start, first of all you should download the correct simplemining image from simplemining.net.

Now start your prefered terminal and head to the location where you saved the file. For Example:

cd ~/Downloads

The file was delivered compressed as a zip file so type:

unzip *SimpleMiningVersion*.zip

Now you should have the *.img file in your Downloads-folder ready to flash.

Last but not least type:

sudo dd if=/SimpleMiningVersion.img of=/dev/sdb

Type in your sudo-password and wait until it is finished. Please be careful! Everytime you use dd make sure you typed at of= the correct path of the usb stick. If you type in a wrong path you can shot your system and lost every data on it! So please
