I have written about our little stone dust operation [1] the other day. Now we had to move it due to the arrival of a shed that ended up being too close to the old pit to safely continue on as flying rock was likely to damage the shed should we stick to the old pit.
So it has to be moved. Here is the new spot.
Note that the soil at the new spot is of really poor quality - very loose, pretty much all dust.
In a way, this new pit presents an opportunity to conduct yet another experiment - namely, to see if the stone crashing operation and the resultant dust is going to affect the soil quality. Hopefully in a few months there will be some changes in the soil's consistency and fertility.
