Ark has successfully crossed two huge milestones off of our road map recently. We could not be happier as to how it played out. After months of preparation and testing, we released ARK into the world. It is steady, fast, and completely run by the community.
Shortly after Main-net was launched on March 21st 2017, community forging rewards were initiated. At block 75,600 our 51 delegates began receiving 2 ARK per block that they produced and verified for the network. This transition from reward-less blocks to block rewards also went as smooth as main-net launch did.

Current Road Map
Now that we have launched and can focus on the future of ARK, we can announce what we are currently working on in the background. Giving everyone a look inside ARK and the team over the next 3–4 months.
Our first goals after main net launch include:
- Continuous updates and bug fixes.
- User interface upgrades.
- Technical Document Protocol of how the blockchain is updated and the data is exchanged between nodes.
- Mobile wallets
- Desktop wallet redesign
- Alternative implementation via Python, Java, or Go.
- First iteration of SmartBridge with a Centralized APP.
- Making ARK clone-able with push button deployment and linked to ARK’s Main Chain via SmartBridge.
- IPFS integration in ARK.
That is a technical mouthful but, it is today's current road map and a closer look behind the scenes. The Roadmap on our website will be slightly amended due to the fact that the physical card system needs bitcoin reserves that we do not currently have, but we do have plans for a second crowdfund sometime in the future with our unexchanged tokens from the TEC. The exact dates of these releases cannot be announced quite yet, but stick with us as we will be expanding on this more soon.
While we are working hard in the background, there are also contests running for anyone that enters to receive some ARK. And new contests being announced all the time.

Are you a developer? Do you know a developer? We are offering 200k ARK over the next year for your input. With monthly and quarterly bounties.
During all of our developments there will be some PR announcements as well. Including but not limited to, partnerships for SmartBridge, official website overhaul, ARK Merch Store upgrades and designs, deployment of testnet clones for start-ups, instructional videos, SmartBridge documentation, More bounty contests, and ARK’s officially sponsored race car.
Yes, ARK is sponsoring its very own ARCA/CRA Series mid west race car. The ARK 7 (photos and video will be released soon) will be traveling the mid west and east coast of America. The ARK 7 race car will also be racing at the famous Bristol International Raceway in May. Stay tuned for more info.
