فينجر.. رائد المدربين الأجانب في الكرة الإنجليزية

عندما وصل آرسين فينجر، إلى إنجلترا في 1996 لم يفتح باب الألقاب وحسب أمام الجانرز، بل حطم حاجزا كان يعزل المدربين الأجانب عن كرة القدم الإنجليزية.

ومنذ عام 1889 توج كل أبطال دوري القسم الأول باللقب تحت قيادة مدربين بريطانيين وعندما بدأ فينجر يتحدث عن علم التغذية وعلم النفس وفن كرة القدم، لم يحظ باهتمام الكثيرين.

وفاز أليكس فيرجسون وفريقه القوي مانشستر يونايتد بلقب الدوري في موسم وصول فينجر، وتشكك كثيرون في نجاح مدرب فرنسي متطور، لم يكن لاعبا لامعا، وسط تقلبات الكرة الإنجليزية.

لكن في أول موسم كامل له في 1997-1998 قاد فينجر، آرسنال للقبه الثاني في تاريخه بالدوري الممتاز وحقق ثنائية محلية بالتتويج بكأس الاتحاد الإنجليزي، معتمدا على دفاع بريطاني قوي يضم توني آدامز ونايجل وينتربرن ولي ديكسون وستيف بولد بجانب سرعة ومهارات الثنائي الهولندي دينيس بيركامب ومارك أوفرمارس في الهجوم.

وزاد من ثقل فريق فينجر مواطنه باتريك فييرا، الذي كان نموذجا للاعب الوسط العصري وكان العمود الفقري لأفضل تشكيلات فينجر.

وعند وصوله لآرسنال كان الدوري يضم 11 مدربا إنجليزيا وأربعة من اسكتلندا ومدربا من أيرلندا الشمالية وآخر أيرلندي بجانب مدرب هولندي هو رود خوليت، الذي كان يقود تشيلسي.

أما في الموسم الحالي ضمت البطولة مدربين اثنين من ألمانيا وثلاثة من إسبانيا وثنائي برتغالي وثنائي فرنسي إضافة إلى مدرب أرجنتيني.

وبدأ هذا التحول مع نجاح فينجر في موسم 1997-1998، الذي أقنع الأندية بالبحث عن مدربين من خارج بريطانيا حتى أن الاتحاد الإنجليزي قرر الاستعانة بالسويدي سفين جوران إريكسون ليصبح أول مدرب أجنبي يقود المنتخب الوطني في 2001.

وتغيرت الأوضاع منذ أول لقب لفينجر من إجمالي ثلاثة له بالمسابقة ليصبح فيرجسون المدرب البريطاني الوحيد الذي فاز بالدوري في 20 موسما بعد ذلك.

وتوج تشيلسي باللقب بعد ذلك مع البرتغالي جوزيه مورينيو والإيطاليين أنطونيو كونتي وكارلو أنشيلوتي.

وحقق مانشستر سيتي نفس الإنجاز مع الإيطالي روبرتو مانشيني، الذي أهدى النادي في موسم 2011-2012 لقبه الأول في الدوري منذ 1968، وتكرر الإنجاز مع التشيلي مانويل بليجريني ثم الإسباني بيب جوارديولا.
وحتى المعجزة التي حققها ليستر سيتي عند التتويج باللقب في 2015-2016 كانت تحت قيادة المدرب الإيطالي كلاوديو رانييري.

وحاول مانشستر يونايتد تكرار قصة نجاح فيرجسون بعد تقاعده في 2013، واستعان بمواطنه الاسكتلندي ديفيد مويس لكنه لم يكمل موسما واحدا وخلفه الهولندي لويس فان جال، ثم مورينيو دون إعادة اللقب إلى أولد ترافورد.

وكان ليفربول سريعا في التفاعل مع ثورة فينجر في 1998 عندما استعان بالمدرب الفرنسي جيرار أولييه واستمر في منصبه 6 سنوات ليصبح أول مدرب أجنبي (غير بريطاني) في تاريخ النادي.جاء من بعده الإسباني رافائيل بينيتيز الذي قاد ليفربول للتتويج بدوري أبطال أوروبا بموسم 2004-2005 ويسعى المدرب الألماني الحالي يورجن كلوب، لتكرار نفس الإنجاز بعد وصول الفريق لقبل النهائي هذا الموسم.

ورغم هذا لم تذق كل الأندية طعم النجاح مع مدربين أجانب.

وبينما عجز فينجر نفسه عن تحقيق ألقاب خلال سنوات طويلة مع آرسنال، ابتعد غريمه توتنهام هوتسبير عن المنافسة رغم توالي العديد من المدربين الأجانب.

لكن توتنهام يمر بفترة جيدة حاليا مع مدربه الأرجنتيني ماوريسيو بوكيتينو، ويقطع خطوات للأمام بينما تدهور حال آرسنال مؤخرا مع فينجر.

ويسعى حاليا إيدي هاو (بورنموث) وشون دايك (بيرنلي) وكريس هوتون (برايتون) للحفاظ على سمعة المدرب البريطاني وترك بصمات جيدة عند مواجهة أندية الصفوة.

                                Wenger is the pioneer of foreign coaches in English football

When Arsene Wenger arrived in England in 1996, the titles were not only opened to the genders, but he broke a barrier that isolated foreign coaches from English football.Since 1889, all champions of the first division were crowned under the leadership of British coaches. When Wenger started talking about nutrition, psychology and the art of football, he did not receive much attention.

Alex Ferguson and his strong team Manchester United have won the league title in the Wenger arrival season, and many doubt the success of a sophisticated French coach, who was not a brilliant player, amid the fluctuations of English football.But in his first full season in 1997-1998, Wenger led Arsenal to their second Premier League title and scored a domestic double in the FA Cup, relying on a strong British defense that includes Tony Adams, Nigel Winterburn, Lee Dixon and Steve Bold alongside the speed and skills of Dutch duo Dennis Bergkamp and Mark Overmars attack.
Wenger's weight has increased his compatriot Patrick Vieira, who was a model for the modern midfielder and was the backbone of Wenger's best formations.

On his arrival at Arsenal, the league consisted of 11 England coaches, four Scottish players, a coach from Northern Ireland and another Irishman alongside a Dutch coach, Ruud Gullit, who led Chelsea.

This season, the tournament included two coaches from Germany, three from Spain, two Portuguese and a French duo, as well as an Argentine coach.

The move began with Wenger's success in the 1997-98 season, which convinced the clubs to look for coaches from outside Britain, until the FA decided to hire Sven-Goran Eriksson to become the first foreign coach to lead the national team in 2001.
The situation has changed since Fenger's first title in the competition, with Ferguson becoming the only British coach to win the league in 20 seasons.

Chelsea were crowned champions Jose Mourinho, Italians Antonio Conte and Carlo Ancelotti.

Manchester City made the same move with Italian Roberto Mancini, who in the 2011-2012 season gave the club his first league title since 1968, and repeated with Chilean Manuel Pellegrini and Spain's Pep Guardiola.
Even the miracle of Leicester City when they crowned the title in 2015-2016 was led by Claudio Ranieri.
Manchester United tried to replicate Ferguson's success story after retiring in 2013, using his compatriot David Moyes but not completing a season and his successor Luis van Gaal, and then Mourinho without returning the title to Old Trafford.

Liverpool was quick to react to the Wenger revolution in 1998 when he hired French coach Gérard Ollier and continued for six years to become the first non-British foreign coach in club history.Spain's Rafael Benitez, who led Liverpool to the Champions League in the 2004-2005 season, is looking to repeat the same achievement after the team's arrival in the semi-final of the season.

However, not all clubs have had the taste of success with foreign coaches.

While Wenger was unable to win titles for many years with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur kept away from the competition despite many foreign coaches.

But Tottenham have a good time with Argentinian coach Mauricio Buccetino and are making strides forward as Arsenal's recent deterioration with Wenger has deteriorated.
Eddie Hao (Bournemouth), Shaun Dyke (Burnley) and Chris Hutton (Brighton) are seeking to maintain the reputation of the British coach and leave good marks when facing elite clubs.
