Maybe ugly is not the ideal word to use, especially seeing as there is so much depth, as well in thought as in emotions, in your drawings.
But at least people talk about it, you get recognized (which is hard enough here and on instagram) and you can go on making art :-)

I use ugly in more of an ironic sense, more like what some would categorize people who are different or unusual as. None of them are actually ugly, just a bit grotesque I guess.
