Hello everyone today I come to talk about a very global topic and much interest for each of us, who we perform as artists, whether as writers, painters, dancers, musicians, among others.
As the title says, we will talk about what art is, how it was created, where and by whom, as well as we will talk a little about each of its branches.
It is a very broad concept, which encompasses all the creations made by the human being to express ideas, emotions, sensations, among others. Art can be transmitted through plastic resources such as painting, architecture and sculpture; linguistic as poems, stories and poetry and sound as music.
Origin of the Art
It is said that already in the time of prehistory art was used as a means of communication to convey messages, ideas, thoughts and emotions, due to artistic discoveries in caves. For that reason they have been made known several hypotheses where they affirm that the art originated in the primitive time.
At what moment and where is the Art made known?
The origin of the art is situated in the Paleolithic, during the Stone Age. Hypothesis that could be affirmed due to the artistic discoveries discovered in continents like Africa and Australia.
But as we well know are hypotheses created with the purpose of publicizing the supposed being that gave rise to art, just as there are other hypotheses where they say that art was used for Shamanic rituals, for totemic, religious symbols, among others .
In short, art was created as a medium of communication, where you could transmit is all kinds of message, emotion or idea, in a creative way.
Art can be transmitted in many ways, but the most important are:
1. The Painting :
It is an art where different substances and pigments are used, better known as acrylic paint, graphite, watercolor, oil, among others. They are used to create a visual art where it uses the combination of colors and lines. In addition to having a wide range of techniques and styles, such as abstract drawing, nude, landscapes, figurative, self-portraits, among others.
2. The Music:
It is a coherent combination of silences and sounds, with logical and sensitive criteria. In the music, the two most important elements are rhythm and sound, depending on which instruments are used. The music can be divided into two main styles, which are the instrumental and vocal, from there depart several genres such as opera, rock, pop, classical music, blues, jazz, tango, among others.
3. The Poem:
In poetry, the aesthetic qualities of language have more importance than the same content. In this abound the literary images and the symbolic elements, that are expressed by the metric. The main characteristic that comprises to the poetry is its composition, that comes being the rhythm, the stanzas and verses. Poetry can be expressed in various ways, it can be through metaphors, ironies, comparisons, among others.
4. The Sculpture:
It is the art in which voluminous figures are molded in wood, clay, stone or any other material to express beauty. This is divided into two styles, the ornamental (plants and animals) and statuary (human figure).
5. The Dance:
It is an art in which the whole human body participates, that is, body movements, with these movements it is possible to express emotions and feelings. It may also be accompanied by music, although it is not inherent. Therefore, dance can be performed at any time or place, as it does not depend primarily on music. This art can be divided into several styles such as ballet, flamenco, tribal, tango, among other styles.
6. The architecture:
Consists mainly in the technique of building and projecting structures and buildings. Its aim is to satisfy human needs, as well as to provide you with beauty in various places and spaces. Some of the most recognized styles are Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture.
Therefore, art is the best way to express our feelings, emotions and thoughts, thus emanating our being when we make art. For me, art is everything, I do not know what I would do without art, since it is already part of me and not having it is as if they took my heart. Exaggerated way of expressing it, but it is so.
