I recently hosted a steemit promo-night and I chose a local pub as the venue.

The night itself didn't exactly get the crowd that I was hoping for, but nevertheless those who came are now waiting for the new steemit passwords. I'll be hosting more events in the near future, so anyone who lives in the UK is welcome to come along. Hey fly over from abroad if you like, but it would make for an expensive afternoon in the pub.

These events will be casual, but will make for a good oppertunity to meet-up with other steemians. This will be held at the same venue as before and I will probably do them once a month(The last Sunday of the months or something like that).

So look out for more details as I will no doubt be announcing the 2nd event soon. Anyway, just so you can get a feel for the venue, I did some amateur photography, while waiting for folk to arrive on Wednesdays. The pub has tons of artwork all over the walls and some is even for sale, so if you like what you see, there is another reason for you to make it to the next meet-up.
