Hello Everyone,
I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons for 8 months and if you read my other posts you will know I recently started being a Dungeon Master. I've had ideas for characters floating around in my head. I decided to get them down on paper and draw them for you guys. My information may not always be 100% accurate as I'm still learning the game. This is a spin off of Dungeon Adventures. This character concept is allowed to be used in any format you would like to apply it as.
This is Mistress Blade a young female Tabaxi or cat folk. She is sly, clever and mischievous.

Story: Found on the backstreets of Zoryaste by Evangeline she was young(7-9 years of age) her parents abandoned her because of her ear tips and reddish purple eyes. She was of noble birthright on her second birthday she was tossed out of the carriage while it was raining. An old veteran took pity upon her and taught her how to fight because he liked her tiny size. A few years later he passed away. One day she was found by Evangeline and Rhonzol starving and severely injured. Rhonzol wasn't quite sure what to do with the young child so he left it up to Evangeline. At first, she tried to run from Evangeline but every time she did Evangeline found her. Eventually she accepted Evangeline. She slowly grew to love the adventures they went on and began to like all the memories she was building with Evangeline.
As a GM, I can't stress enough how important it is to develop backstories for NPCs. In fact I wrote something just today about it Building Depth in Games: Contagonists

I've always wanted to play DnD! I've recently gotten a group of friends who I can play with and immerse my brain into the universe. I'd love to put work into creating a character like this! Heck, even two or three! Great post!

The build up that people do for their characters is nothing short of amazing. I love how detailed you go into her backstory!
