Very well, here we go again ladies and gentlemen of Steemit.

Balance.

That is the theme I was inspired and driven by in making this art piece. Yin and yang. Healthy balance of negativity and positivity. What do you think? Do you see it there?

Hey, @be-do.

I think it turned out great. It kind of has this eighties art look to it, with a digital overlay. :) Not sure if that makes any sense. I like how you backed off coloring all of her hair and left the top part of it basically in pencil.

Congratulations on the curie trail upvotes, too. Well done. :)

Thanks so much, hehe, maybe the vibe has that kind of feeling, sure wasn't my intention!

Have a great day :).

You even captured the emotions. It's just the same as the original photo. Great art work.

Thanks for the kind appreciation @fredkese !

Welcome

Wow thanks!!

Heyy @be-do, I must say it is pretty cool to see the process until the end result. The end result looks very good. Very close to the original photo :) So you can take that as a compliment. We hope to see more of your work. Congratulations and take care!

Thank you, I will try my best to create new artworks which will be even better :)

I am sure you can! Thanks again :)

Hello @be-do and congratulations for the great artwork. I love the outcome, however, I'd love to see a more detailed step-by-step process. I'm not very familiar with digital drawing and it would be interesting to see how the magic happens. I went to see your other works but the process is similar to this one, I mean it's a gif. Maybe one day, right? :)

Hello @erikah thanks so much. I am new to the process videos (it is trending right now, hehe, every another artist does it). So I said why not? Many people would like to see it, I just need to find the right software and essence to create these .gifs fast and effective.

Answer to your question, yes of course! I will create and post more, so you will be able to see the process :). I want to even write more detailed explanations why I did this and that in the painting, because everything (even the expressive and abstract elements) are on purpose.

Have a beautiful day :)

Thank you for your positive response! Believe it or not, these step-by-step guides mean a lot to many people. We all are beginners at something and you never know what is going to help you start to learn something new.

I started drawing last year after watching tutorial posts and videos here on Steemit. I have no talent but still, I think drawing can be learnt if you are consistent. If course, I'm aware of the fact that I'm never going to be an artist but I can draw something for my own pleasure and it's fun.

So please, if you can detail the process as much as possible, that would be excellent.

Keep up the good work and Steem on 😀

Frankly, I don't think I have so much talent neither, when I started at highschool I had the worst grades and everyone around me was painting better and drawing more smoothly.

I said to my self that if my cards aren't talent, then my cards will be hardwork and here we are now... I do it professionally and earn money from it.

You never know :) talent with out practice is more horrible then no talent at all (which doesn't even exist in my opinion).

If you like to paint, draw or any another activity, just do it until you will be sick of loving it :D Wish you the best!

You're right, and I like your way of thinking! I'm also wishing you good luck 🙂

Hi @be-do, your piece of art is very nice. I was stunned when I saw the original photo because they look really similar. How do you do that? Is it just your hobby or do you do it professional?
Either way, keep on doing, what you do!

Just perfect,
Cheers M

Thank you so much, I help my self with the reference photo a lot and I aim for the stylized realism in the painting. I do art professionally and also as a hobby, hehe.

These series of "Maria Nirvana's" is my spare time daily challenge to work more then I did yesterday, so it is a competition with my own self and laziness.

How I do it? I find or take a great photo (if it is necessary [which most of the time is, because it decreases time spend on the artwork and composition and basic shapes by an extreme measure]), then I incomporate an idea which I want to present (now I mostly play with harmony, balance, energy etc.) and I start to paint layer by layer. This whole process takes me from 2 hours to 8 hours, really depends on how distracted I am, how difficult the composition is and how much detail I want to express.

I take them as a form of a training, a practice. And also it is a nice spice to my work and free time. :)

Thank you so much!

hey @be-do I can already read that you are really proffessional and passionate about it :) It is really nice to hear how your process is going. I will follow you to see new work in the comming future.

Have a nice day buddy.

Thanks!

Have a beautiful day as well.
