'More Tulips' ......from @bleujay's Skye Fleur Collection

..........original artwork and photography by @bleujay;  presented by @bentleycapital with permission.

The Finished Work....... 'More Tulips'

Transition Stages

Original Photograph of the Skye

Bonus Digital-Art..... 'Rainy Day Tulip'

Thank you for visiting @bentleycapital.

Cheers!

For those interested in the details.......

More tulips presented quite differently yet with the same exuberance.  A different cloud formation presented itself and tulips were once again chosen as the subject matter.

This time the original photograph of the skye was taken to a filter for transition to a black and white presentation for experimentation of expressing the tulip in an interestingly artistic way. Presented with a bonus art piece.....just in case a bit of colour was wanted.

For your enjoyment.

Kind Regards, bleujay

Cool tulips. I see the immediate imagery in the original photo. And of course, I have a DD interpretation. But don't want to insult the artist, by always coming up with something way off base in my interp. Though I suppose can't help it, just how the old chicken brain works. Which is obviously not good at keeping up, either. Somehow I missed this post. Too busy in summer doing chores, I guess. Though I'll vote your comment back. Cheers to a Monday in June.

Greetings @ddschteinn,

Appreciate you dropping by anytime......I am quite enthralled with what you have to say. ^__^

According to my training and how bleujay sees the role of the artist.......an artist has a responsibility to step
back from the work and let the viewer experience the work from their own frame of reference, therefore I try not to name the work too artistically, ^__^ or direct the viewer.....so as to not get in the way of their experience of the work.

One produces the art as an expression and the other experiences the art from their capacity......and perhaps never the twain shall meet. It does not matter, such is the nature of art.

Thank you for dropping by for a cuppa.

Cheers! ....from bleujay......doing a bit of work in the garden myself.....
'Out Gardening' hehe

On a Tuesday,,,,,

Ah, yes, the interpretation of art. That is what makes it so special. You never know what will 'surface' in another's minds' eye. Always fascinating. I do like your idea of just letting it sit, without a guidance idea to the viewer. That leaves it more open to interpretation and flexing of the mental imagery muscles.
Here's to a cuppa on a too-late Tuesday night. I must head to bed. So it better be a cuppa water, or I shall stare at the ceiling till all hours. (Can you believe it, I've never actually drank a cup of coffee. How odd is that, eh?) Cheers.

Ah, the tulips. Always brings a smile to my face! :0)

Greetings @meesterboom,

Appreciate you dropping by with kind words and a smile!

Happy to hear you enjoyed the tulips.

Wishing you and yours a lovely weekend.....hopefully without a certain visitor. hehe

Cheers!

Hi @bleujay, it is unusual to see black and white tulips, but do you know that there are also very dark red almost black sort of tulips too. That is way it made me to think about those ones when I saw your digital Art. On the third picture from top, it made me think about kissing tulips that one in the middle, doesn't it look like that?

And of course the tulips under the rain that is the most beautiful one, I love spring and summer rain, I believe the flowers too.

Thank you for this nice selection and for such lovely flowers.

I wish you @bleujay and @bentleycapital nice and enjoyable weekend!

Hi ya @stef1,

Lovely to hear from you.

Ah yes....I see....what you are saying. Do you see the 'lips' on the leaf to the left in the lead and the second one down.....so now we have kissing tulips and lips. hehe ^__^

English gardener-ess? ^__^ ... Rosemary Verey in her book 'Garden Plans' has a suggestion of using ' White Triumphator' lily-flowered tulips with what is called a 'Black Parrot' tulip.....which as you say is rather a dark burgundy perhaps. Interesting thought and very different combination....which bleujay is keen to try.

The 'Rainy Day Tulip' was featured in a bleujay post nearly two years ago......so happy to hear you thought it 'beautiful'....it is a favourite.

Thank you for for your kind wishes for us......here's wishing you and yours a lovely weekend!

Cheers! Lovely chatting with you.....thanks for the cuppa.

Amazing tulips in black and white with interesting details! Very creative that they came from white clouds and blue skye again. Another excellent artworks from @bleujay!

I also love your original photograph of the Skye. Wonderful! Besides, the way you took photo of the branches of the tree on the top of the photograph is my favorite. Great capture!

The last art piece is very special bonus indeed. The tulips with bright color are very magnificent with the raindrops. These look refreshing.

I enjoy your presentation of these artworks very much. ;)

Wishing you and yours a beautiful week! ;))
