Hi guys,
One thing you may or may not know about me is that as well as my gaming and fiction I do visual art.
I particularly like making designs for shirts. I used to heat press these myself but now I sell my art on Redbubble and Threadless instead as those websites already have an established customer base.
My heat press
This taped bit of the cord is the result of me once accidentally melting part of the cord. The top of the heat press swivels around for putting shirts down and taking them off etc and once I accidentally had the hot top touching the cord by accident and didn't realise until I wondered what the black stuff was (it was melted cord).
I make my shirt designs in Adobe Illustrator, GIMP and Adobe Photoshop. It depends on the design what software works best and sometimes one shirt design involves the use of multiple software. I use a drawing tablet to make my designs for the most part though sometimes the work is done with a mouse. This is the type of drawing tablet that has a drawing surface and you plug the tablet into your computer and what you do on the tablet using the stylus / pen thing translates onto the screen.
The designs have varied themes. One theme I enjoy making shirts on is Misheard song Lyrics.
One of my misheard song lyric designs, IRAN. This is based on the song I ran by a Flock of Seagulls
Another of my misheard song lyric designs, Lobster, based on the song "Monster" by Imagine Dragons
I also like making shirts based on puns, based on my other work such as my YouTube videos, and just random ideas I have from time to time.
But what, you may be asking does that have to do with Four20? I do have a design that fits into that theme and I am sharing it around the place since that time is coming up. I figured why not share it with people on Steemit and discuss this interest of mine at the same time.
