That looks amazing! Did it took a long time and strength to make it?

It did take lots of time, not a lot of strength. I was using a rotating tool for the hard work.

Nice. Did you hand knap this or use a grinder?

I used a dremmel for the dirtywork.
I would love to handknap but i don't have the skill down quite yet.

Hand knapping takes a trained skill. I only know one person who does it well. I'm selling his items at our store. He's older and slowing down a bit. It would be nice to find a secondary supplier.

Is there anywhere online I could have a look?

We're currently working on getting an online store up and running. Having issues with the program provided by our server.

Great stuff.
Let me know, or feel free to send some pics if you have. would love to see.
This was my very first un-trained attempt. My teacher is called trial and error. have never even been exposed to anyone else doing it...
Saw a rock and decided, I want to try something. this post was the end result. So I would love to see what I could be working towards! :)

I did pick up some very nice quarts rock that i want to play around with.

Quartz is very nice looking but also very hard and brittle. A lot of fractures. Again, it takes a trained skill (a lot of practice and heart break. Let me know how well you do.

will do. thanks!
