Hi everyone!

It has been a spell and I do apologize for the delay but real life ran over me with a train of sudden crazy hectic-ness with no regards for a spider’s comforts or protestations :( But here we are, a little late but none too worse for wear, with the Winners’ Announcement post for @c-squared / @c-cubed’s first Art Contest!!!

First of all…

Thank you to those that participated :D We realized that this was not a very standard art contest so we really appreciate everyone who turned up : ) There were only eleven entries in total, despite the total prize pool of 80 Steems so we are going to try and reallocate the prizes to better reward all the participants :D

Without further ado, here are all of the eleven entries, with my comments of appreciation attached to each! The Winners will be announced right after~

The Elated Elevens!

_{boy, it is hard to find exciting adjective that goes with the number eleven… I was going for the theme such as The Magnificent Seven or such!}

   Love how she uses her own artworks as the base for this banner :) I always like those little personal touches that artists put into their creations!

2. @artmedina's entry
   
   @artmedina brought the idea of the layout into a TV studio and I really like the addition of the audience on the foreground! :)

3. @bidesign's entry
   
   Sleek~ I love the golden theme! It suits the 'beehive' motif so well :D

4. @etasarim's entry
   
   This one has a buoyant energy about it, and the colours and feel makes me think about an exciting night out at a swanky club :D

5. @jadams2k18's entry
   
   I'm getting a talk show or a concert vibes from this one, I really like those super strong stage lights at each side of the picture, and the artists being showcased seemed as if they are placed on their pedestals, having a conversation with each other :D Very cute !

6. @littleboys-faiz's entry
   
   An original arrangement from @littleboys-faiz's own design :) @c-squared's logo seems to be wanted by both the car and the spaceship! Wow!

7. @por500bolos' entry
   
   A space themed entry, with @por500bolos' own arrangement, I like how the artists' spotlights seem to be out there in the great open space, amongst the stars! :D

8. @ruen's entry
   
   Those couches sure looks snazzy and great! Love the colour composition <3 And really like how the audience appreciating the artists seem to be artists themselves, brandishing the art brush or the palette excitedly :D

9. @thilah's entry
   
   Glowy * ___ * The lighting in this piece is very magical and makes me all excited! Love the addition of the presenter to the side of the arrangement (sort of the embodiment of @c-squared? presenting the two artists?) :D

10. @vasigo's entry
    
    Makes me think about football, all of a sudden :D I really like the use of bright and primary colours in this one, it makes the piece feels sporty~

11. @znkd's entry
    
    From @znkd's own design, an entirely different take for the spotlights, they are now magical balloons that lift us up into the skies, where imagination and creativity reign supreme???

So, there you go, the eleven awesome people who put in the effort and shared with us their talents and their time and their effort :D Thank you, Elated Elevens! You are all Obi-wan Kenobis~

Prize Structure

First things first, as you may recall, this was the prize structure as it was announced in the actual contest's post:

• First Prize: 50 Steems
• Honorable Mentions: 2 Steem per participant (available up to 10 participants) - Totaling 20 Steem
• Thank You for Participating: 0.5 Steem per participant (available up to 20 participants) - Totaling 10 Steem

Total Prize Pool: 80 Steems

Since there are only eleven entries, I have decided to redistribute the prizes as such:

• First Prize: 50 Steems (1 winner at 50 Steems)
• Runner Ups: 18 Steems (4 winners at 4.5 Steems each)
• Thank yous: 12 Steems (6 winners at 2 Steems each)

This way everyone is better off :D Hooray??? HOORAY!!!! \o/
