I deleted my Facebook account back in December and I'm definitely not returning, but the downside is that I also had to give up the business page I had developed to sell my paintings - so I'm going to see how my work is received on Steemit!
Most of the paintings I've sold have been through Facebook, though I have exhibited my work in coffee shops in Melville and Regina, Saskatchewan.
I use rust paint, spray paint, acrylic latex, drywall filler, and hand-made stencils to create my messes. Rust paint produces that glossy finish - the painting never looks dry. All of these materials are durable and inexpensive relative to conventional art supplies, this has allowed me to keep my pricing low and generate a substantial inventory (I haven't counted recently, but I probably have over 70 paintings on hand).
Here are a few samples, let me know what you think!
Good Paintings...good luck for your business
