Hi Steemians! I realize the error in spelling up top there, but it would be a nice Segway to copyrighting the art. The below images are work that my good friend back home in Kansas (remember that map dot?) has been doing. He is a multi-generational wheat farmer. If you follow commodities at all, you know the plight. It was a conclusive factor in losing my own dad a couple years ago - very difficult to trudge through mentally.
Kudos to this guy for keeping occupied and raising his kids, third on the way! He has a knack for reclaiming barn wood and creating Patriotic beauty. Unfortunately, I think the offers he has had for that work in terms of exchange of the work for profit are shameful. Culturally speaking, I think that fine arts and creativity are a bit unknown or undervalued out there. Economics of a farm town are very different than my own bubble in suburbia.
That said, I have been encouraging him to list the works on Amazon (meh), eBay, purse.io, and to form an account on Steemit and write about his work, both art and farming. He happens to be a fab wordsmith.
My question to you all Anarcho-Capitalists, Libertarians, earth dwellers, Steemians, friends, artists, creators:
What would these fetch?
Would you say there is a means of feasibly transporting these from person to person via shipment?
Would you pay BTC, ETH or LTC for the work?
In essence, I wish to know so I can help him out. I'm not selling them, but these are my friend's original works!
