Looking back at my art back then up to now

Hey there! I just wanted to share this with you guys. Lately I've been thinking about how badly my art is and comparing it to the others. I was always like that, seeing other artist greatly improve their art but here I am still at rock bottom. I always question myself if I am improving myself or not. I happen to came across my old folder filled with WIPs (Work in Progress), old artworks, old comics and a lot more! I scanned thru them and there was this art that I recalled. It was the first drawing that I made with shadows and details in MS Paint and I was very happy of it turning out good

and then I kept on drawing every single day, before going to school, after I finished my assignments and on weekends. I was happy even if I only have MS Paint and my mouse. I was not very familiar with Adobe Photoshop and I just used it for editing photos. Then, my cousin introduced me to Paint tool Sai. I tried drawing on it and just doing and exploring what I can use on this. I liked it and this was the software I kept on using for drawing digital arts (and up to now, though I'm practicing painting in Adobe Photoshop too)

This was the first 2 drawing I made (still using mouse back then)

I think even if I was improving slower, it was still an improvement. I also encountered some interviews from great artist and they said that "If you think that you are not good enough, means that there is a room for improvement"

And until now, I will keep on drawing and improving. Here's one of my latest works^^
