Buttercups and Daisies Mean Summer Fun To Me!

This bright picture is my attempt at a Krita quick pic of 'Buttercups and Daisies'. I admit it took 25 minutes so was no good for Artstorm but I had fun creating it. Oops, just realised that I didn't do the centre of the buttercups.

Look at this beautiful view of a meadow full of daisies! They are so clean and pure with their lovely white petals.

This kind of daisy is a wildflower in my country. It grows freely in fields, meadows and on garden lawns. Do you have these daisies in your country?

As a child, I loved to go on picnics with my family. We played ball games and ate our picnics happily.

After we would make daisy chains if we could find enough flowers.

What a welcome splash of yellow! Like daisies, buttercups are wildflowers in my country. They are a gorgeous shade of brilliant yellow and have glossy petals.

There was a game I used to play as a child to see if people like butter.

You pick the biggest, healthiest buttercup you can find then hold it flower upwards under someone's chin.

If they like butter the colour shines up on to their chin skin!

The real reason is different, of course. The yellow colour shines on your chin because the petals have an outer layer that reflects light like glass.

I think that's a lovely reason as well.
