Imperial Coronation Egg made by Fabergé - unique masterpiece / lost chance

in art •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hello,

My great passion is to collecting Faberge eggs Originating from various period of time.

That one I was no able to buy because bidder that I fight against during auction make me cry & win this Coronation Egg. Imagine that price was just around 1200 USD. it;s a pity I thought anyway.

That egg was Imperial Coronation Egg - Collectors Egg (diameter 17 cm) - Luxury Edition "Imperial Court" - Enamelled with special paste, including Swarovski Rhinestones and 24k Gold finish

The Faberge Coronation Egg was ordered by Tsar Nicolas II for his young spouse, the Tsarina Alexandra in order to celebrate his ascent to the throne. Only 500 copies were manufactured worldwide in year 1992.

Weighted for about 1 kg this egg is in yellow enamel with Swarovski Rhinestones and a nice 24 k gold plated finish and was in great condition.

Do you like item like this or there is a too classic work of art for you,

My opinion is that it's absolutely unique art of work and I decided to make small collection of such stuff, because this is for me a big challenge... hope new occasion will be in near future.

Enjoy your life,

Jack

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

hope new occassion will be in near future.
It should be occasion instead of occassion.

Corrected. Thanks a lot for your comment!
