Well I unfortunately ran out of time to make the callout sheets which technically disqualifies me but being part of this and learning about concept realisation was much more important.
Here are my final submissions. The Sword of the King and The Burial, in the respective order.

In retrospect, using 3d for concepts is a good basis to paint light because the render gives you values and shades that you can quickly pick. Photobashing is really fun and creates realistic renders but it may covers a lot of underlying 3d work. If I had to do it again, I would create simpler shapes in 3d and photobash on top of it. I also have to experiment with other brushes, I used mostly a standard softbrush for the painting phase so I will try some textured brushes next time.
