JWildfire: base fractal "Rainbow Galaxy"

in art •  6 years ago

Hello!
Today we will consider the parameters of the base fractal, which I called "Rainbow Galaxy".
This is a rather complex fractal. It consists of seven triangles, one of which is the final one.
To create a new fractal, click the New from scrath button. A new triangle is added with the Add button.

1 Triangle

Weight 1,2691039
Plugin spherical3D_wf = 1, add. parameter invert = 2, exponent = 2.

1.jpg

The coordinates in the Affine tab:
X1 0 X2 -1
Y1 1 Y2 0
O1 1 O2 0

2.jpg

2 Triangle

Weight 4,614,6194
Plugin spherical3D_wf = 1, add. parameter invert = 0, exponent = 2.

3.jpg

The coordinates in the Affine tab:
X1 0 X2 -1
Y1 1 Y2 0
O1 0 O2 0

4.jpg

3 Triangle

Weight 0.5
Plugin pre_blur = 0,0466247
Plugin ztranslate = 0.1651653
Plugin wedge_julia = 0,0342342 add. parameters power = 7, dist = 0.2, count = 2, angle = 0.3092972
Plugin cosh = 5,1122959

5.jpg

The coordinates in the Affine tab:
X1 1.1045361 X2 0
Y1 0 Y2 1.1045361
O1 0 O2 0

6.jpg

4 Triangle

Weight 0.1
Plugin gaussian_blur = 0,0055466
Plugin sin = 6.42638

7.jpg

Coordinates leave the standard.

5 Triangle

Weight 0.2408428
Plugin falloff2 = 3,1833569, add. parameters as in the screenshot:

8.jpg

The coordinates are standard.

6 Triangle

Weight 1.4048115
Plugin Julia3Dq = 5,6297037, add. parameters power = 7, divisor = 2

9.jpg

The coordinates are standard.

The final triangle

Added by the button Add Final
Plugin Julia3D = 1, add. parameter power = 4

10.jpg

The coordinates are standard.

But that is not all. Go to the Xaos tab and adjust the settings for the first and second triangles, as shown in the screenshots:

11.jpg

12.jpg

And this, too, is not all. Enable the post-transformation mode with the Post TF button and change the coordinates of the following triangles:

3 Triangle
X1 1 X2 0
Y1 0 Y2 3
O1 0 O2 0

13.jpg

4 Triangle
X1 1 X2 0
Y1 0 Y2 1
O1 0.3 O2 0

After building a fractal, select the desired color in the Gradient tab, then scale the scale and location of the image in the Camera tab. In the Coloring tab, you can adjust the brightness and gamma. Do not forget to also increase to 3 or 4 Spatial oversampling in the Anti-Aliasing / Filter tab.
After all the settings, save the fractal settings to the computer and you can start the image renderer.
In the next lesson, I will start experimenting with this basic fractal.
