This Picture is from the Lake Perkolilli race in Western Australia - 1928.

The car is a 1927 Bugatti type 35B

I personally digital paint this picture for the book Red Dust Racers written by Graeme Cocks.

The book, released in 2016, has been named the winner of the Gold Medal in the International Independent Book Publishers Awards in the United States of America
