beach art... it's pre-fab obviously but still

Every now and then I will walk around and remark about how there is a decisive lack of gang-oriented, horrible vandalism. The vandalism is really bad in Da Nang and i don't even know if it has anything to do with drugs.... i just know that it has a lot to do with ugly.

You don't have to look at this really hard in order to determine that it is definitely a bunch of pre-fabricated tiles that were designed to look exactly like they do in the end but this is what adorns the beach-front of Da Nang and despite the fact that I love street art. I am a big fan of this

It almost looks like street art but in the meantime it isn't. The nature of the tiles also make it really difficult for anyone to paint over whereas the solid structures up and down the beach are covered in crappy and poorly made tags from untaltented street artists.

I love street art... i hate vandalism. Unfortunately, most of the spray "art" that exists here is garbage and I feel as though the city made a wise decision to put this tile work on the beach.
