Haiku response poetry with @brokemancode.

This is @brokemancode's latest haiku in his
#thirtydayhaikuchallenge.

It's day 17 for him.

The topic RIVER.

This is @brokemancode's piece.

Woman.

A weeping woman
By the river she waited
For a lost lover.

Here is my response.

Riverine Feme.

Marooned on the bank

Repose merging ebb and flow

Benevolent sleep.

I have incorporated a #bicscrawl into a daily post. My own commitment to doing something creative for 30 days.
To give myself permission to have a scrawl or scribble and let go of criticism around defining art.

Yesterday's - Branches.
The topics have somewhat merged and meandered into a descriptive misadventure of an unfortunate soul.

Join us in the #thirtydayhaikuchallenge or #bicscrawl, or perhaps challenge yourself to your own thing and invite others.

Here are some of my other haiku posts from @brokemancode's prompts

Wonderful reflection @girlbeforemirror. I love this piece especially the last line "benevolent sleep".
