Meditation is never in time; time cannot bring about mutation; it can bring about change which needs to be changed again, like all reforms; meditation that springs out of time is always binding, there is no freedom in it and without freedom there is always choice and conflict.

Actually we all ask ourself if the time is a humanbeing's invention or exist before everything... If it is a humanbeing's invention like the other things like mathematics then meditation is not of course in time...anyway it is really complex for all of us... I believe in time is a humanbeing's invention... There is no time in fact.. We just name it..

Meanwhile drawing is really nice and has great details.. Congrats and have a nice day...

Thank you @mnallica for this comment!
I believe that a fundamental understanding of the nature of time brings the ultimate freedom of it. I've had recently some interesting discussions about time in the comment section of this post: https://steemit.com/art/@gric/about-realities-within-realities-and-dreams-within-dreams

Great points! Time and space and simply concepts to denote the finite nature of all matter....mountains, for instance, have a very different time scale than say human beings, but nonetheless finite. All matter is finite. I will caveat this with the statement that of course, nothing is really destroyed nor created - merely transformed from one form of energy to another.

Amazing work again Peter! Thanks for sharing :)

Oh wow this is beautiful! Jiddu Krishnamurti set up a school, The School KFI in my neighbourhood. I didn't go there but a lot of my friends did and you can tell just by interacting with them that they come from a very different educational background and thinking rooted in Krishnamurti's philosophy.

Time is something that is such a tricky construct to deal with. It's easy to categorise it, measure it and project it but it makes you wonder if they're all just social constructs. Is it anything than a unit of measurement of life?

The drawing itself is wonderful. I love the title, love the penwork and the idea. I can actually feel the crumble of ego here. Bravo!

Thank you @manouche for your kind words!

WOW...truly a amazing work of art. The sketchiness and the line weight come together beautifully. It almost reminds me of a Gehry building coming apart at the metal seams! Thank you for sharing.

agree with mnallica : there is no time, the time is invented. As there is no ego, the ego is only a pure fantasy created by the mind. No mind, then no ego remained... practicing meditation is to aim the state of no mind and then... then, the adventure can begin. Anyway, THANK YOU Peter, as usual, for you work sooo rich, deep and more than perfect !

Yes, I'm using Copic Fineliners when I'm drawing outside, but I still prefer metal quill pens.

I'm not sure I understand...

This is fantastic art,

Mr Newton always had a thing for stacking boxes, it allowed him to think, to calm his mind. He never knew it would take over his entire garden and become a home for stray cats.

Well, he didn't know about the cats until one day it all came crashing down in flood of feline fur.

Oh well, he better start again.

Thanks! :-)

Love the tonality, but the hatching/scribbling is where its at for me. Very relaxed and easy going. Feels unforced and natural. Good stuff.

It looks like a shattered head. I am not sure of what it is, but somehow I feel attracted to it. I like it.
