What:
Working off yesterday's post (if you missed it you can see it here), this image is a group shot of all the characters I created for the credits of the short film by Rey. This was a log of fun to work on, and I grew to love all the characters (some more than others, I admit).
I think what I love most about this whole project is the psuedo-professional wrestling vibe it has. There are heroes and villains, and they all take it so seriously - pinata fighting is not just a hobby or something fun to do, it is their calling and destiny.
Who:
Rey Barreras is the film maker, my friend, and a great guy. I love what he did with the images I created for him.
How:
As I mentioned yesterday, Rey requested a very specific style, which I first created and then executed with each character design. The image below is just a collage, of sorts, of all the characters.
