I discovered recently that aside from drawing chibi, I also enjoy sketching. So I decided to try out sketching an eye. Maybe if I continue practicing, I will get better and better. So I will show you the progress of the teary eye I tried sketching for the first time.
So of course, I started with the lineart for the eye. I'm not sure how to do it because I'm used to drawing chibi eyes or maybe anime eyes. But I guess somehow it worked.
The next step I did was trying to make some lines thicker and clearer. I'm not sure what I was doing though. I also added tears because the eye would look more expressive.
Next was I put more details to the eyes and shadow using the cotton swab. I think cotton swab really helps me a lot in doing my sketches. It's really interesting how your sketch can change if you brush it with cotton swab. It's like magic!
Lastly, I drew the teardrops and my username. Finalizing it with one last detailing before I finally felt it was okay. I know I still have a long way to go in terms of sketching, but I will try to enjoy it as much as I can. Thank you so much for visiting!
