On a beautiful Sunday I got this crazy idea of doing something to focus on how much food we waste and take for granted.
This photoshoot was done with fruits and vegetables discarded by local market vendors.
Along side my colleague from Suriname Fashion Week and a stunning model all the way from our neighboring Guyana we sat down discussed my idea and brought it all into reality within a day.
As we live our lives we often forget how we are blessed and rarely think about those less fortuned than us if we are not directly confronted by them and their situation.
One of my goals this year is to bring some awareness to all the beautiful things in our different cultures, countries and religions, things we usually take for granted.
