Sorta, i followed Blender Guru's beginners video. however i modeled everything from scratch only useing textures made by others. You can get started too right now with his video series which i linked below.

i plan to keep making more 3D art when i cant fly my Quad-copter. im currently learning the blender Physics so i can create some simulation videos. im going to try to make something in blender every week for at least a few months so i can force myself to practice and make deadlines. thanks for the view. hope i helped, if nothing else at least for a moment with a piece of art.
Thanks for scrolling to the bottom! this only took me three days (roughly 7 hours or so of work) and most of that was rewinding the videos so i could memorize the controls or because i got ahead of him and did something wrong. Its easy to learn, like alot of things; it just takes a bit of patience and persistence.
