Short Introduction:
My name is hisir also known as haisir on youtube. I'm a teen gamer who occasionally enjoys drawing things of all proportions. And I've created the series learning art to do exactly that... learn art, or at least most of the mediums that I can get my hands on. Like for example - painting, photography, and drawing. Enjoy!

Learning art 1#

Today I decided to draw one of my favorite cartoon characters that most of us know. His name is, of course, Spongebob as you might have seen in the thumbnail of this post. All around it was fun to draw Spongebob because of his simple body structure (a square). This drawing took about 10 minutes to do, including the logo, that sadly, I had to cut into two.

I started out with the shape of his body slowly filling in details from the bottom up.

I have to be honest, I can't draw that well, so I took reference from google images.

Here I used straight lines to give his mouth a shading effect. And because I was working with a ballpoint pen filling in areas was not that easy.

Nearly done, only his arms left at this point. I did not know that it will go south really quickly from this point on.

If you noticed his arms look un proportional to his body, and his hands look way too big.

But in the end, I was satisfied with the drawing. And I think it turned out better than expected.
