My finished acrylic piece. It took a few hours to complete. The main idea behind it is your subconscious self transcends your concious (ego) self. It's still part of you but it's able to leave your body temporarily.
The idea came to me in a blur at first and produce a piece that looked liked this.
I then added detail in to make it clearer to the viewer. I liked using strong brush strokes and choosing colours that felt right.
I suppose the piece can have several interpretations such as one can be about the good and evil side people both have or the Ying and Yang of consciousness.

This image is very expressive and suggestive. Our superior (Divine) self is related to our body-knowledge (ego). But body consciousness does not always hear the voice of the higher self. This is the basis of human stupidity :)))
