Hand Embroidered materials where the family business run by my Aunt a long long time ago.
However, it was not pursued as they're decided to migrate to different country for good.
So I never heard that story until they found out that I'm doing the same craft.
During my childhood days, I have my Uncle, who was a designer of gowns and office uniforms.
He also had some samples of blouses that was embroidered by my Mom.
Now I realized that maybe this craft is really loved by my family.
I tried for myself as a start and practice.
Then this is my very first hand embroidered heart-floral design that was sold.
I have my own pattern, good thing that I also love to draw.
I used wooden embroidery hoops and yard in different colors.
Then followed with different floral designs.
Finally, this is my recent creation of hand embroidered shirts.
A souvenir from the Philippines.
I was just asked by my colleague to do it and this is the result.
"Jeepneys" the most popular means of public transportation, which have become a ubiquitous symbol of Philippine culture and art.
I hope everyone enjoyed reading and looking at my hand embroidered designs.
Till my next post.
Thanks!

Wow! This is an amazing skill. Also it's a skill that I think is fading away. I looked around to try and find a place to learn this where I am and I couldn't find anything at all. I would love to be able to do what you do!
