Hi, guys!
Today I continue sharing my sketches I do for my drawing project on new CG classes session, and today I had an interesting task. I had to take a reference of a tree, and then re-draw it as if it had different moods. I chose pair of moods stable/vulnerable.
For each mood I had to draw three possible versions only in black spot, then choose one of each that I like most and add some sketchy color. Despite the fact that the drawing looks super simple I've spent two hours drawing them all. Adding mood to a tree for me yet not the same as adding mood to a character, but when you grow as an artist it has to be the same.
I feel like I have to repeat this task for several times, take different reference and try pairs of mood like happy/sad, aggressive/friendly, this might be a great experiment and possibility for growth;)
See you in the next post!
Love, Inber
really great exercise, we did kind of the same in my school, we had to take an object and add emotions to it, making it run etc, and it's really improving all your charadesign skills! great job!
