Are you a Splinterlands player like me? This is the first summoner I've ever maxed out, so I thought I'd do a sketch.
About a year ago when the game was still called, SteemMonsters, they awarded this card out a lot, but now you have to buy it. I'm sure that it will be valuable a year from now.
I would like to thank you, STEEM community, for liking my drawings and travel photos. It's because of your support, that I was able to MAX LEVEL this card!
Remember when we learned how to draw? Start with the circles for a head, shoulders, and knees. Getting the face right is very important. If you mess up the face, the whole drawing will look bad. You can mess up the hands, or clothes and no one will notice. Did you notice how crappyily I drew the sword? Probably not, but you'll see it now.
Getting fat, running out of money in your checking account, and running out of pencil are weird experiences, because everything seems fine until it's not. I was wondering what's wrong with my hand? What's wrong with me? Why can't I draw well today?
That's better!
I love DARIA because she makes your melee monster attacks stronger. She can also summon any splinter: Earth, Fire, Water, Death, Life, or Dragon. I use her with the MAX out Sea Monster often now.
I actually never noticed she was female until I started drawing her. I wonder why they named her, Daria. Was it from that cartoon about a depressing smart girl back in the day? I felt the drawing needed some more darkness, so I sharpened the pencil to be very sharp.
The Qtip did a great job blurring everything. This was the final pencil drawing before I put her into the iPad. I figured I'd erase the Qtip digitally.
I really liked drawing her, but that Batman drawing the other day is probably my best pencil drawing ever. I'm sure every former art teacher would disagree because it lacks background or perspective. I don't care about that stuff. I just want to draw my characters.
If I don't clean up the smudges with the digital eraser, it looks dark and doesn't make as much STEEM either.
A little technical pen tool will really darken the lines.
Thanks for going through the drawing process with me today. I hope your enjoying your free time too. Have a great day!
🖼 Photography Tips:
☀️ Submit to the sun! Nothing can provide better lighting than a clear day at noon. 🌤
📷 Get close up! Make the photos feel 3D by having the camera focus on something very close while showing layers of blurred background. 📸
✂️ Cut, crop, and delete until you have ten good shots with unique proofread text. 🔪
