Hey there...

...I'm Jeri. You can consider me a creative who's only goal is to be better than the best. I'll be posting my art (along with the products used) for your viewing pleasure.

First up: Erykah Badu.

This is an image that I saw of her on her personal Instagram that just had "draw me" all over it. I decided to use colored pencils on watercolor paper and Copic marker (Light Pink - RV11) on the background, which might have been the dumbest idea. Watercolor paper just sucks the life out of any medium that isn't watercolor paint.

The hardest details to capture when drawing this was the glare in the glasses (see below) and her hair. BUT! I might say that this came out beautifully; Erykah Badu even liked it on my Instagram page (@jerisimoneart for those interested).
