Silly Daddy finally gets the point in this sharply-made Cactus Comic. I drew this funny nature cartoon based on time spent walking the desert gardens at the Huntington Library in Pasadena.
You can see the photos I took at this wonderful park that actually captured a happy cactus showing off a real face! That fits perfectly with my ongoing things with faces art series.

I grew up in Monrovia. Our family went to Huntington Library a couple times when I was a kid, as did our school for a field trip. I lived really close to the Arboretum, so, I went there a lot!
Sometimes, we would get a rogue peacock in our neighborhood, flying from tree to tree. Good ol days...
