The "Mano del Desierto" is a large-scale sculpture of a hand located in the Atacama Desert in Chile, constructed by the Chilean sculptor Mario Irarrázabal.
A man dressed (disguised) for the "Fiesta de la Tirana", an annual festival held in the locality of La Tirana in the Tarapacá Region of northern Chile. This takes place on July 16 in honour of the Virgen del Carmen.
Finally, in the background, you can see the northern mountains with the rustic drawings created by the first inhabitants of this place.
